i think this is a great idea...crosspromotion and intermedia relations are a great way to keep everything tight and on some moderately unified track.
also, i noticed there was a local sports beat show slotted 7-9 am weekdays. I really like that idea. I know that some people probably want to shy away from things like that for KSCL, but it's a great way to add connections between Centenary and the greater Shreveport community of which it is a part. I know that one thing I always wished was different about Centenary was that feeling of a meaningful relationship between the college and the host city - it really is crucial to both Centenary's strength as an institution and Shreveport/Bossier's cultural and intellectual growth. Even though a show like this one doesn't seem like it's going to broaden many horizons to some, just having it on the air is huge. People love high school sports, and I can bet people will tune in on their way to work Monday morning's to see if their son or daughter gets their name mentioned. Having some commercials that ad for Centenary events in between breaks on a show with that type of regular listnership is invaluable for KSCL and Centenary.
glad to see 91.3 is growing. keep up the good work!
